"I draw families with crayons, colored pencils, and enormous amounts of
love. My drawings become heirlooms as my subjects are immortalized...Art
does that.
I draw entire families but rarely on one sheet of paper. I prefer creating
a series that are framed individually but hung as a group. That way, when
the children are grown they each have their own original portrait." |

CAMERON
IN CARMEN'S HANDS
"This is a drawing on canvas with oil pastels. This little girl happens to be the
precious grand-daughter of my dear friend, Dr. Carmen Meir." |

SIERRA HOPE'S FIRST
BIRTHDAY
"I create my family drawings today with crayons and colored pencils,
without ink, so the drawings will never fade. I photograph my subjects so
they do not have to sit for hours, and I finish the piece with my subject
in person." |

DR. ROBERT SHREFFLER
"This is a drawing of my father in the Santa Fe Plaza
near my parent's home." |
